Aquatic Physical Therapy
Aquatic PT is a specialized service with limited availability in the Washington, DC, metro area. This form of therapy is an excellent method of treating numerous conditions and injuries for those people who cannot tolerate treatment ‘on land’. Our physical therapists are specifically trained in providing this type of skilled therapy.
The aquatic therapists recommend that you have simply your bathing suit and water shoes in preparation for your first aquatic session. We suggest you refrain from purchasing any other aquatic tools and equipment until you have had several sessions of aquatic therapy to know what you want and need. You will have opportunity to try any equipment your therapist recommends for your exercise program.
